Lacey Canfield, a Maple Grove, Minnesota native, moved to Nashville, Tennessee right on the heels of graduating from high school in 2012 to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter and recording artist. Three years later, the young singer/songwriter released her debut CD of all original songs, titled “Oh Tennessee”, which includes fan favorites like “Ten Mile Summer”, “Ordinary Girl”, and “Lily Rose”.
With smooth, understated vocals, Canfield's voice has been described as "the musical equivalent to being wrapped in a warm blanket." She exhibits a nuance and subtlety in her singing that captivates her listeners, and rises above her sparse and ethereal arrangements. Fans of John Mayer and Colbie Caillat will feel right at home with Canfield's cozy style and absorbing sound.
Canfield continues to build her fan base, both nationally and in the Nashville area, through a heavy performance schedule, and she is currently writing and recording her next project. After audiences hear her music and watch her perform, they feel they have taken an intimate trip through Canfield’s life so far, and are most certainly eager to find out where the journey will lead next.
